What is Q's Co-Bake Space?

• an inspected commercial kitchen, designed for baking

• great for starting up your baking business, without the expenses of building and maintaining a commercial kitchen

• a space to prep your baked goods, have pop-up sales, and facilitate pickups for your customer's orders

• prepare products to sell at markets and events

• Members have their chosen time slots reserved monthly, and they cannot be booked by anyone else

About the space:
The space is made up of four areas, most rental time slots have sole use of the entire space.

1. "The Kitchen": full sized commercial oven, table, rack and roll with pans, cake pans, muffin pans, cupcake pans, mixing bowls, scale, dish sink, fridge shelf to use during rental

2. "The Prep Room": large counter space, fridge shelf to use during rental, microwave

3. "The Mixing Room": 10qt mixer, table, scale, bowls, induction burner & pots, fridge shelf to use during rental hours

4. "FOH": counter space with plexiglass display for sale of products, or order pickups. Fridge for use during rental hours. Your business sign can be posted on the front door during rental hours if you will be doing a pop up sale, or order pickups.  You may also put out a sidewalk sign.

What else is included?

• All members can have a 1-on-1 business consultation, for tips and advice on getting your business started, or for scaling up your current business

• all members will get a weekly Instagram post or story to promote their business or upcoming sales/pop ups

• printed shared flyers available to all customers with information about each business using the Co-Bake space

• long term storage space for dry goods, fridge items, and freezer items.  (Amount of allotted space is dependent on rental package)

Co-Bake Space Memberships:

• Level 1 Members: 1 designated rental time slot per week.  Basement storage space of: 4 feet of dry storage space, 1 shelf of fridge space, 1 small freezer shelf. $425/month

• Level 2 Members: 2 designated rental time slots per week. Basement storage space of: 4 feet of dry storage space, 1 shelf of fridge space, 1 small freezer shelf. $735/month

• Level 3 Members: 3 designated rental time slots per week. Main floor storage space of: 6 feet of dry storage space, 1 shelf of fridge space, 1 small freezer shelf. $1035/month

• Level 4 Members: 4 designated rental time slots per week. Main floor storage space of: 6 feet of dry storage, 2 shelves of fridge space.  1 XL freezer shelf. $1335/month

Need just a few hours periodically?

Hourly Rental Pricing:

• $21/hr

• minimum booking of 4 hours at a time

• booking time must include time needed to clean up before leaving

• optional add ons:

  • Dry storage shelf: +$25/month

  • Small fridge storage shelf: +$30/month

  • Small freezer storage shelf: +$30/month

All renters (members or hourly) must supply a copy of their Food Handler’s Certification. If products will be sold, you must also provide copies of your Liability Insurance. The space, equipment and tools must be cleaned, sanitized, and returned to their original spots prior to departure. All prices subject to HST.

Book your rental here:

Prior to your first rental, (Members or hourly renters) you must book a Kitchen Viewing ($0), this is just to make sure that the space will be a good fit for you. After this is complete, you can use our online booking to reserve your kitchen time slots for hourly rentals. Membership bookings will be invoiced monthly, no need to book online as your times are already reserved.
